First Generation Student Career Leadership Experience
This national career development conference, held in Miami, Florida, brings together 400-500 First Generation college students.
Designed specifically for First-Generation students, this conference equips participants with career awareness, readiness, and leadership development skills, and valuable resources to ensure success in college and beyond.
Redwood Trust Mentorship Program
In partnership with Redwood Trust, this mentorship program connects attendees of the Circle of Change Leadership Experience with accomplished professionals for six months of career mentorship and guidance.
The program provides students from diverse backgrounds with the coaching, knowledge, and support needed to achieve career success.
First Generation Student Career Development Bootcamp
This eight-month program, led by Dr. Joshua Fredenburg, offers First-Generation students access to expert career development training, personalized coaching, and a comprehensive career playbook.
The bootcamp includes:
- Two virtual career development sessions per month with industry experts.
- Specialized coaching on resumes, branding, interviews, and LinkedIn.
- Guided career planning for success during and after college.
First-Generation Student Career and Leadership Society
A national leadership society dedicated to empowering First-Generation students to become leaders of positive change on their campuses and beyond.
Members develop leadership skills, build connections with peers and professionals, and grow as impactful leaders within their communities.
